FlyerTalk Forums - My first post!

Hello to you all from the city surrounding the airport know as CPH.
im am truly amazed about this site, and its users.
Let me first tell you how i found this site.
This Wednesday late local time, me and my G/F wanted to get away from the overcast and rain...and the freezing temperatures, so we sat down and looked for some tickets in our price range=free :D or at least as close to for free as possible...(since im a student and my G/F the only one making money).
we found some, great tickets with heavy restitrictions from CPH-BKK R/T (2xtickets) which ran around the 1100 USD total...quite cheap actually... :confused:
Thursday morning, i went on the phone calling all travel agents i could find in my area. needles to say prices werent remotely close to theyre offers on the internet, theyre prices started at 2035 USD for 2X R/T CPH-BKK.
i then consulted my G/F, and during that timespan (an hour or so) the prices jumped to 3250 for 2x R/T CPH-BKK... :mad:
So our easter get away plans went out of the question...
Later thursday i went browsing, and guess what i found this site... :D
now im going to plan well ahead, and use every trick in the book(ur site) to get me and my G/F around the world for less 2035 USD total this summer :cool: with your help hopefully ^
