Dirty mattress in hotel
While traveling in Calif. we stayed at a hotel that was recommended by a website.(WWTEE) When we got there ofcourse we were tired (traveled from Alaska to LAX) we got something to eat and went to bed. The next morning we got up when I was sitting on the edge of the bed something scratched my leg when I looked down there was a spring sticking out of the mattress I pulled the sheet back and was horrified the mattress was covered with stains. We went out to look for another place to stay was unable to find one that wasn't worse all the nice ones were booked (there were 4 convenions going on) when we got back to the hotel I spoke with the desk clerk he said that it wasn't his problem he just worked there.
We had nonrefundable tickets for Knott's so we went and spent the day there. The next morning I spoke with the manager he gave me the hotel chain number and again repeated it wasn't his problem. I took pictures of the spring and mattress stains, he wasn't interested I told him that if I could of found another place to stay last night I would of, he said everyone is booked. I contacted to hotel by phone several times with no responce all I got was a recorded message. When I got home I emailed them still no responced so I put it on auto send for every 8 hrs. I got a responce with "I passed it on." Still no repsonce this all took place on Feb. 24,25 of 06. The name of the hotel so you can stay away is PARKSIDE INN AND SUITES ACROSS FROM DISNEYLAND. What ever happened to customer service  thanks for listening and stay away :) |
Hello.
Welcome to FlyerTalk. Let me guess...you flew Alaska Airlines? I hope you enjoyed them. Anyways, I've heard about that place not being the best. I can answer your question easily. We are now in a "cheap" crisis, where we want low-frills, ect. Look at air travel, that's why Southwest, JetBlue, RyanAir, and all of those LFA's are doing so well. If you want, I can recommend some good hotels in Anaheim that most likely won't have the dirty matress. ;) Canada Flyer |

http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserR...82.cinkca_html Judging by the "candid user reviews photos", the place is very bad. It's got bad ratings, too. |
