Code 5

So I am in terminal E of IAH (on my treo)...I was about to step through the security checkpoint when everyone started yelling "code 5"...now nobody can leave or enter...TSA is keeping everybody right by the security checkpoints...any ideas what's going on?

The doughnuts arrived, they didn't want any pax to get near them.

That's cops; the TSA hasnt reached that level yet. The cops had probably finished their donuts and brought them over for the TSA to eat the remains. :D

Watch me get selected on Monday for that one. :p

It's probably a suspected object in a bag that looks like something harmful to peoples safety. They take another look at it and do a visual search to make sure everything is OK. Then they let the cows through again!

Found out

Turns out some person was running UP a "down" escalator or viceversa. At least that was the official story...I am still leaning towards the doughnut theory. Luckily, they let the herd continue after about 15 minutes...

Isn't that what Lt. Kendrick ordered that PFC William Santiago be given before he was shipped off the base?

tom911 Mar 10, 2006 2:02 pm

Thought that was a code red.

Actually a "Blanket Party," according to my Marine brother, but Code Red sounds so much more exciting in a movie.
