A lot of corporate travel agents (like mine) can get the USAirways Shuttle for about $280/rt...

Of course JetBlue out of JFK is about $80/rt!!!

If you are a student try www.studentuniverse.com but you need a .edu email address.

Depends on when you need to be there. But I was searching for an LGA-DCA fare on Delta. I believe it was $214 all in.

Are there shuttles to JFK? I think shuttles go to and from LGA (Delta, US Air). Jetblue doesn't fly between New York and Washington, DC. You might want to compare Amtrak fares as well. They might be less expensive than shuttles.

My bad...JetBlue goes to Boston, not DC!

Or one of the Chinatown buses - hard to beat $30 round-trip.

most amtrak was-nyc is more expensive than air because it is so much more convenient, and regardlass of what they say, I think it takes less time.

they also do not go to jfk.

I don't think there is a shuttle between was and jfk

There are several different companies, and each one has several different types of bus. So, it's somewhat of a crap shoot re: comfort.
But it's a relatively comfortable ride, as far as buses go. (I think they're better than Greyhound, FWIW)
And the cost is about the same as if you had driven yourself, considering gas and tolls.

Sorry, meant to include this Web site: http://www.chinatown-bus.com/
It has the skeds, drop-offs and prices for several of the bus lines.
