Flight legs...

Hello, assume you book an F-class ticket from A->B->C (same ticket, different planes, B is a connection city).
My questions are :
Can you leave in B ?
If so,can you keep the leg B->C or is it lost forever :) ?

Thanks all.

I've done this on a DUB-SNN-BOS flight- met the plane in SNN due to a schedule change. Make sure to call the airline so that they know you won't be a no show.

Yeah but in my case, it would mean you have to take your luggage out of the plane...so i wonder what they would do...

Can't check luggage if you intend to deplane at the connection. It will go on to the final destination. You may want to consider, too, that if you intend on refunding/using the next leg of the ticket, there may be a fare adjustment as your ticket will be a fare A->C, and the combined fare A->B plus B->C may be higher ('course you could be lucky and it may go down, but the odds are against that ;) ). Definitely let the airline know about the change as they have got this nasty habit of invalidating tickets of no-shows (you can do it after the flight as long as you do it within about 24hrs, but the sooner the better).

I see basically, it means having no luggage except hand luggage ?

Right ?

20 yrs or so ago, it was possible to drop the last leg and check bags to the intermediate point, but no more.... carry on is the way to go...

however, if your fare is fully refundable, you might call aa and see if you can change the ticket and get a refund, but, if you are doing a hidden cities thingie, stick w/ carry on....good luck.
