Mark There is one FTer who has posted a few times about his buying a bunch of Delta stock, back when he loved flying Delta. He then sold it all when he became upset with the way things were heading service-wise, which turned out to be a very good decision financially. @:-) |
westjet employees supposedly own their airline, at least that's what their ads say. so i suppose they do own stock.

Back when eBay still had their Anything Points and had a promo with ShareBuilder, I remember purchasing less than 1/2 a NW stock. I do believe it's worthless now--or is it? ;)

I own some Ryanair, which I bought around the same time as I bought Cisco.
Guess which one did better! |
If you own any S&P500 tracking stocks/mutual funds, you own airline stock indirectly.

I own Continental stock, a fair amount - for long term investment. Never got anything from them as a result.
OT: I own stock in AT&T (dating back to the old AT&T pre 1984 break up) they used to include a free 10 minutes AT&T Phone card as part of the annual report. I forgot to look at this years... -Vincent |
