Don't go to Khazikstan and try this. They'll be more than happy to accommodate you with "extra service".

Tip the concierge (or security possibly), tell him you don't want to be disturbed. He'll understand and you'll get no offered female company....

Yeah but then they want you to fill out a survey that doesn't really measure how you feel when something has gone wrong. Just a piece of paper would be great. Maybe on the paper you could request a survey or request a phone call like "hey have somebody call me up and ask me how I'm doing!" See who volunteers for that duty. In Huntington at the Hyatt they called us up twice and one had a flippin voice recording promoting their restaurant. I was looking for the release of liability paper to smash the phone :p

This kind of reminds me of the waiter/waitress who stops by to ask "everything OK?" just as you're chewing a big mouthful of food.... :eek:

This happens in the US too. NYC and DC is no exception -- especially at the higher profile hotel properties. South America too. I basically got propositioned by one in the elevator of the Hilton in Sao Paulo. In GRU, I was going up to the room after check-in but the elevator stopped on some interim floor. She gets on my upward going elevator for no good reason hands me a card and then when I get off she goes back to a lower floor. Apparently it must be a strategy that works or she is crazy to try the same thing over and over. :eek:
