Hotel Recommendation in Paris Needed!
 

We need to select a hotel for a meeting in Paris. About 14 sleeping rooms, plus conference room for 3 days/ 3 nights. Typically, we prefer the InterContinental Le Grand Hotel, but they are full for our dates.

Can someone recommend other hotels in Paris in the same class and price range? We need to be in the heart of Paris/ Nueilly, and not the outskirts.

If you like being near the Opera, I love the Park Hyatt Vendome on rue de la Paix, though it has a very different feel from the Grand.
If you like big, older hotels, what about the Meurice? (Very, very good restaurant, BTW.)
I love the George V, but I think it's several rungs above the Grand. Ditto Le Bristol and the other top of the line ones.
I would not consider Neuilly to be the heart of Paris, by the way.

I also wouldn't consider Neuilly to be in the heart of Paris. My company just had a partners meeting with about the same parameters (2 meeting rooms, 3 days/nights, about 15 participants) at the Sofitel Hotel Bercy (within the ring road but nearly exactly opposite end of Paris as Neuilly), and had excellent service. In fact, I wrote a thank you letter to commend one particular staff member to the hotel general manager; so happy to have this opportunity to give them a positive reference.
