multiple destinations
 
I'm looking easiest and cheapest way to get from lax to tahiti
for one week, then to maui for a week and back to lax.
It's been hard to get air fare prices, any advise would be
appreciated.

Try a *A circle pacific fare. Air NZ flies LAX-PPT-AKL-HNL would need separate ticket to maui, then resume on the circle pacific with UA back to LAX.
