I want to make it known! We have never suffered a catastrophe of this magnitude! We have had hurricanes in Florida and suffered many losses! But this is beyond comprehension and I hope all this will be taken into consideration! Please understand that everthing from Baton Rouge to Pensacola is generally not available and our properties are doing all they can to support Government Officials and survivors! Please allow us to do what we can to support relief efforts and do not request what we cannot provide based on this catastropic event! Please do not request reservations in these area's! I am not an official for Hilton Family properties and I am posting on my own! I just want each of you to understand the impact of what we are dealing with!

I agree wholeheartedly.

While not on a first-hand basis, I have also been impacted personally by the events of the Gulf Coast region of the United States, which is why I have not logged onto FlyerTalk as frequently lately as I have in the past. No, I am not talking about my travel being impacted. In fact, without going into too much personal detail, I have relatives from the Gulf Coast region taking refuge in my home until further notice, uncertain of their future.

However, this is not a topic dealing with Hilton properties or the Hilton HHonors frequent guest program, which is why the new home of this thread is the CommunityBuzz! forum.
