Tikal from Guatemala
 

I will be in Guatemala City in October and plan on heading over to Tikal for a day tour. I would like to spend longer but I am afraid this is all the time I have.

Can anyone recommend a good guide or tour company for this excursion?

Is it better to buy my flight, tour, and transfer as one package before leaving the US or should I buy it a la carte once I get there?

Any other advice?
