I don't care one way or another if you want to put your feet up on the bulkhead- all I'm saying is many people will think less of you for it.

Telling me to "get a life" kind of proves my original point.

Signing off this thread now, as I really, really don't care...

Not my idea of an apertif

Although there doesn't appear to be consensus, this little sight on a recent SFO-IAD flight probably crossed the line: 1C pax put bare feet up on the bulkhead...for at least the first 30 minutes of the flight! Eeewww!!!

On a recent AF flt from CDG/LAX a J class pax sitting in bulkhead seat and wearing short shorts, removed his sandals as soon as he was seated. He proceeded to fly the entire flt with his fat, hairy legs and bare feet up on the wall. Yuck! I was seated across the aisle. I was tempted to say something, but withheld comment when I saw how nasty he was toward the FAs.

Rude, tacky, tasteless, entitled, arrogant, self serving, inconsiderate, discourteous, lowlife.

Feet up on the bulkhead

It may be comfortable, but that doesn't mean it's in good taste. It would be comfortable to show up at the office wearing boxer shorts and a t-shirt, but that's not a good idea either.

As for the "I have to do it because the bulkhead is there" comments (not members with a legit medical reason, of course) - what do you do when you're in the other 99% of seats that doesn't have a bulkhead?

You are exactly right, Doppy. Not so much rude as tacky. Of course it's hard to explain to people who don't think it's tacky exactly why it's tacky.

Since the FlyerTalk Rules and Guidelines discourage the bumping up of very old threads as the discussion or facts recited may be outdated, I'll close this thread and invite any further discussion in this more recent and more comprehensive thread.
