What does Priceline do when a hurricane strikes?
Have a PCLN booking at the Omni Cancun in about 3 weeks. I also know that Hurricane Emily is going to go right over Cancun in about 4 days.
If the hotel gets busted up and isn't accepting guests / is of an inferior quality to a 4*, is there any restitution, or do I pay PCLN regardless? Worried about a nice beach getting eroded away.... Thanks again. |
Although it's never happened to me, I would assume that you would get a refund if the hotel is completely destroyed. If part of the hotel is damaged but they are still accepting guests, hmmmm, might be a bit of a gray area. If the hurricane simply damages the beach near the hotel, then I don't think you will get a refund.
