I counted 57 sites on my eurocentric list. Quite interesting and thought provoking campaign by Unesco.

18 for me - half of those in the UK, guess I'm more a cultural than a nature gal since there is only one Nature site (the Everglades). One of the U.S. sites is in Puerto Rico, and one in my hometown. Can't believe I've been to Paris twice and have yet to make it out to Versailles...

Argentina 1C - Quebrada de Humahuaca
Canada 1C - Historic District of Quebec
France 1C - Paris, Banks of the Seine
The Netherlands 1C - Defence Line of Amsterdam

United Kingdom 9C - Durham Castle and Cathedral; Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites; City of Bath; Westiminster Palace, Westminster Abbey and Saint Margaret's Church; Canterbury Cathedral, St. Augustine's Abbey, and St. Martin's Church; Tower of London; Maritime Greenwich; Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew; Liverpool, Maritime Mercantile City

United States 3C 1N - Everglades National Park, Independence Hall, La Fortaleza and San Juan Historic Site in Puerto Rico, Statue of Liberty

Uruguay 1C - Historic Quarter of the City of Colonia del Sacramento

Cool site ~

I wonder if there are more duplicates: Waterton/Glacier International Peace Park and Kluane/Elias are listed both Canada and US.

My list is relatively short but I do feel some satisfaction that I have made it to over half of the 13 Canadian UNESCO sites.

I noticed a couple of others. One is the center of Rome which is listed under both Italy and the Holy See. Another is the Roman Empire Frontier which runs from Germany to England. Then again you could maybe argue for both the Acropolis in Athens and the Elgin Marbles in London but that might cause a stir

On a quick pass through the list, 74.

Among potential duplicates, Iguazu is listed for both Argentina and Brazil, but then, you really should see it from both sides.
