Have you ever been the only passenger in First Class?

Back in 2002 we bagged a couple of those cheap Mexicana business class seats to Puerto Vallarta (one of the great FT bargains, BTW). We did ORD-GDL-PVR which was nearly full in C, then PVR-MEX. But MEX-ORD was just us, two seats out of 12 on the 757. Very nice service as I recall. The flight attendant brought out the entrees for us to choose (chicken, beef or fish, I think) and the drinks were flowing freely.
It was even better after a couple tried to "crash," sitting in the row ahead of us. They were soon escorted back to Y, which was quite full. Of course we were thinking "Hey, this is our private cabin - beat it!"

I was one of 2 passengers in F on UA 805 from HKG-SIN in the early 90s. One of the FA's actually just sat down beside me with champagne in an ice bucket after dinner and we chatted the whole way....very nice!

Flying solo
I've been the sole F passenger a couple of times on ORD-MSP flights. Always the last flight of the evening and the flights have been fairly empty. Flights are overbooked more frequently than empty these days.

Had to think hard, but in 1998 I was the only pax in F on an Iberia non-stop flight from Madrid to San Juan, PR - only a bottle Johnny Walker shared the cabin with me. Not sure, but it must have been one of the last DC10s around and the seats felt like an old sofa. Quite memorable though: for it was the last smoking experience on a plane!

Sq
Feb 03 MAN-BOM on SQ in F solo on the last seasonal flight of the year.
It was like being under a microscope, though not in a bad way. After every third sip of water, a top-off. After finishing 2/3 of each and every meal course an offer to re-fill or clear the plate. Intensive service indeed!

I have found myself as the only F passenger on the short connecting flights after a long upgraded flight (eg, ORD-IND or STL-IND after LAX-IND or LAX-STL in F) and have had other passengers ask me why I "paid for F" for such a short flight.
They quickly understand when I respond that the F seat on the short connecting flight "came with" the upgrade on the long segment and didn't cost extra.

I've flown F class EWR-LHR once back when they had it. I've also flown HKG-ORD with only 1 other person, pretty amazing on that route. One time I also had the entire plane to myself, it was a 50 passenger CRJ and can't remember the route. So the next time you think they are cancelling the flight because there are not enough passengers think again

I was the only person on a short PSP-LAX Sh**tle flight once. The FA needed to move me up for weight balance on a 737! On a 757 SFO-SNA my friend and I were the only ones too, so wierd as those flights are also booked up front.

I was the only pax in the forward C-cabin (777) on AMS-ORD in early '01 when the route had just started up...
Now, as for being the only *paying* passenger in F among SAs...I'd need to take my socks off and count on my toes for that one.

Last year, I was on an AA flight from MIA-CLE that had NOBODY in F. I forget the type of aircraft, but I think there were at least 6 rows! My fiancee and I were travelling on award tickets, so we were not allowed to upgrade.
Whenever I've been in F (all on US and UA), F class has been, at the very minimum, 50% occupied.
