Question about paper tickets

Feel free to move this as I'm not sure where to post this. Are there any airlines in the USA that still have the option of getting a paper ticket as opposed to electronic tickets? If so does the customer have to pay extra?

AA issues paper tickets for free when e-ticketing is not available for some reason (very rare), and for a fee otherwise. Forget the fee amount but it is reasonable, about USD 20 or 25. I think all of the major airlines have a similar policy and fee.

IIRC, AAdvantage award tickets that combine AA and non-AA segments must be on paper.

Same for some UA award tickets, like an intl award split between UA and US.

No longer the case since early 2005, almost all Aadvantage award tickets are e-ticketed, for all 8 Oneworld partners but an exception for specific routes where the airports do not have e-ticket access capability.

Paper tickets

I bought ORD-PRG / BUD-ORD business class two weeks ago on AA.com, AA connecting to LH at FRA; AA issued as paper tickets.
