Sunship1 SUX ORD-CUN NOT!!
 

WARNING WARNING WARNING
Sunship1 Air has CANCELLED flights from ORD-CUN.
I had tix in May & was left a message that Flights from O'Hare Chicago are CANCELLED.
I tried to call back to find out what's going on & "they have to call me back".
Thank Goodness I paid with my AMEX card.
For those of you in the know, if I can find my own fare, am I entitled to any sort of compensation from Sunship1?
On their message they offered me a flight on a different day(not possible) out of ROCKFORD (2 hours away, not an option)
A full refund, or another carrier out of ORD, but most likely a different date.(Again, not an option)

Just an FYI if anyone cares.
Sunship decided to not look for any alternate flights for the passengers they have inconvenienced. I am forced to accept a full refund & find another flight at this late date on my own. Good thing I called an agent I know asap. I now have to go all the way to MDW which is quite a hassle for me to get to. So much for customer service..

By giving you that refund, they more than exceed what they must do. You should be glad, and walk away.

That is the risk with booking with a carrier (that even I as a lifetime Chicago resident) that no one has ever heard of.
