I saw a PanAm Plane at MSY

I really thought PanAm was out of business. I was driving by MSY airport the other day and saw a PanAm plane just about to touch down. Am I mistaken? Are they still in business?

They have been flying East-coast routes for years.

I've seen PanAm aircraft at JFK plenty of times.

It's not the original Pan Am; but another airline who bought the name from the bankruptcy court. flypanam.com

Thanks guys. I thought PanAm went the way of the dodo bird. Apparently I was mistaken.

Still strange in that MSY is not part of their route map:

They fly charters as well as scheduled service.

The Trenton to Beford flight uses a British Aerospace Jetstream 3100, hardly the regional jet in the picture. It is a popular route for those flying to Boston from Philly.
