Quick Question for someone in ATL
 

I'm down here in West Palm Beach. I have a friend that is trying to find a decent price for a flight from ATL to Knoxville Tenn. May 26th - May 30th. I figured it would be Delta since it's their hub but the price is like $318.00 !! Any other airlines that go from ATL to Knoxville? Thanks!

Expedia.co.uk shows US Airways flying to Knoxville (TYS) but prices are at least the same as DL

TYS is incredibly expensive to fly into. I'd recommend renting a car and driving. It will be cheaper, and at about 3 hours (depending on traffic and what part of Atlanta he's starting from) it's not too much slower than the flight, once you allow for check-in/security. When I go PHX-TYS, I usually fly into Nashville BNA and rent a car.
