Dear friends of ours are planning a trip to Sun Valley this month. They are even considering "burning miles" for this domestic trip. The fare for my two pals looks like $1000.00 Departure: 04/18/05--return on 04/23 or 24.
I hate to see them use DL miles for such a short trip; yet, it is very expensive for such a short-haul. Any suggestions?

I just bought a round trip DL ticket to SUN for $365 from PFN (Panama City, FL) for October 5 - 9. I fly PFN-ATL-Salt Lake- SUN.

I just don't understand airline pricing :confused:

i would use miles in a heartbeat. we used to fly to jac from the bay area quite frequently during the winter and often ended up going into ida (idaho falls) in order to get in the $250 range, but that was none to convenient.
