Air Plus Comet?
I just booked a flight for four relatives (in-laws actually) on Air Plus Comet, a Spanish charter carrier. Not much information is available online, but I've found a few reviews. The flights were about $450 round trip JFK - MAD, about half the cost of what was available on other airlines. So we booked them "sight unseen". It seems that they fly an Airbus 310 into JFK at about 2:30 PM on Friday, then fly it back out at about 6:00 PM the same day. Fortunately, my family's schedules were flexible so 3 of them are staying 2 weeks, and the other 4 weeks, (Friday-Friday of course).
Do any FTers have any experience or comments about this airline? Thanks |
I believe the compnay is owned by the same guy who owns Aerolineas Argentinas, as well as a stake in Spanair. You can book cheap regular flights from MAD to ZRH, MUC and PAR on the Aerolineas Argentinas website (from 60 rt), operated by Air Comet.
Havenīt flown them or heard from anyone who did.I would take them for short European hop without more info, but to NY it could be rough. |
