help with north american ticket pack?
 

Ok, i hope this is the right forum and that one of you might be able to help me...

My girlfriend is flying back to the US for a couple of weeks to visit her mom and sis, and wants to hit a few cities while in the US. We've found a cheap r/t SYD-LAX, and are now looking at domestic tickets.

I vaguely recall that when friends of mine used to visit from overseas (when I lived in the US) they would have these ticket books that they bought in their home country that would have a certain number of segments, and they traded one in for each flight.

Do these still exist, and where can I find them?

You are probably referring to Coupons. I know it is available to Asian residents given that they fly the airline for their transpacific segments. NW, UA, DL and AA offer this kind of ticket. For NW, it's $409 US for three segments. L class. You earn miles. You probably need to check with a travel agent to check your eligibility and details.
