AA Information gatering in UK (Not likely AA specific)

Put this in Mileage Buzz as I don't think it's unique to AA.... and I thought the FT-ers might find it interesting. Hope it isn't a dupe..... but I searched and couldn't find anything.

Apparently, Cory Doctorow posted a story on boingboing.net this morning describing a recent hassle while flying on a canadian passport from LGW to DFW on AA. He was actually asked to give out the names and addresses of everyone he would be staying with in the US, and after a discussion with the AA security officers was told that he should not have been asked that as he's AA platinum. He has written an open letter to AA in response

Story is here: http://www.boingboing.net/2005/01/19...ican_airl.html
