Side trip to take while in New Zealand?
 

I will be in New Zealand in March, and we've built some time in to visit somewhere else while we're there. I love to dive, so I was thinking of Tahiti, but others mentioned other islands that are just as nice and possible better. Of course, I forgot what they are. Anyone have suggestions? I've also been to Australia and the GBR already,s o I'm looking for something different.

FIJI!!!! Great diving, beautiful islands, wonderful people, incredible resorts.

Cook Islands. Easy to get to, very friendly locals, much more relaxed pace than Fiji. Be prepared to step back in time!
