BMI connection in Manchester, UK
 

I'm flying from Washington Dulles to Manchester, UK, this saturday on BMI, then connecting to a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt. Anyone know if I will have to go through imm/customs and recheck bags during my 3 hour stay in Manchester? Thanks!

There is an airside transfer at MAN so you do not have to clear immigration or customs -- follow the transfer signs. BD should be able to interline your bags with LH (BA can and they aren't even in the same alliance!).

You don't even need to change terminal as they are both T1.

You mean, just like the way US authorities treat EU citizens when making a connection? :rolleyes:

There is absolutely nothing you need to do- BD and LH belong to the same alliance and these operations tend to be really smooth.
