Flights from LAX to Phoenix

Hi,

I have just joined flyertalk and this is my first post so my apologies if it's in the wrong forum. I live in the UK and am trying to arrange a flight from LAX to Phoenix next year, but am having difficulty in finding what airlines operate this route. Can anyone help please?

Regards

Keith

Welcome to FlyerTalk!

Off of the top of my head, I believe Southwest, America West, and United all have direct service from LAX to PHX. There are also other airports in Southern California that may be more convenient to fly from as well, depending on your travel plans...

[edited to add]

I believe America West is a FF partner with British Airways.

America West(HP), United(UA - using regional jets), and Southwest(WN) are a few airlines that fly this route. I'm not sure what cabin you prefer to fly, but if it's F then HP is your choice.

Come to the America West Flightfund forum if you have more questions.

You may also want to look into LGB-PHX (LGB = Long Beach). America West (HP) also flies several flights per day from this small, intimate airport about 25 miles south of LAX. Don't know if the fares are cheaper than LAX, but you won't have to deal with the vastness and confusion of a large, international airport for just an hours flight. Good luck!

Similarly, if you will be in northern as opposed to southern or western LA, America West has a nonstop from Burbank (BUR). And to round out Southland airports, they also have a nonstop from John Wayne down in Orange County (SNA).

might as well finish off the list...

and let's not forget Ontario (ONT), CA which also has direct flights from PHX on America West (HP). :)
