Getting from Osaka/Kansai to Kobe
 

I will be flying into KIX on Tuesday morning (0800) 9 Nov and will need to get to the Kobe convention complex. Supposedly there is an airport limo (bus) from KIX to the Sannomiya station in Kobe and then the Portliner. Been years since I was last in Japan and lost all touch with the language - not really looking forward to dragging luggage on a subway to get there.

Any reasonable suggestions on getting from KIX to the convention complex would be greatly appreciated.

Limousine bus to Sannomiya and the Portliner (or taxi) from there would be most painless option. If you're landing in rush hour, you might want to take the train instead, but this would require one more change at JR Osaka (not the smallest or easiest in the world to navigate).

Checking around I stumbled on MK Sky Gate Shuttle that runs a small van (9 passenger) service to several airports from Kobe. They claim pickup at customs and deliver to hotel for around 2,000 yen. Anyone have any experience with them?
