Star Attire
 

Have you ever seen a (movie) star at the airport or on your flight and been surprised by the way they were dressed? Which star? How were they dressed?

Not that she qualifies as a "star" but she is a famous athlete. I saw Tara Lipinski with her mother flying in first class on CO. Tara wore torn up jeans, a dirty sweatshirt, flipflops and an attitude to match. She drove the FAs crazy.

Flying AF last year with us in FC was Johnnie Depp. He was wearing a cut-off tee-shirt, torn jeans, a leather hat and looked absolutely gorgeous!! :)

A long (long, long, long) time ago Joan Baez babysat my then 18 month old daughter in the TWA Club at JFK. Very nice woman, but not dressed oddly. Now 19, my D would be green with envy about the Johnnie Depp sighting!

Sat next to Uma Thurman several years ago on BA from NRT to LHR. Well, not exactly next too. She had to deal with the noise from the closet being opened and closed, while I was one row back. But hey, she needed the seat with the Bassenet.

For what it's worth, she was dressed comfy for the long flight and was quite pleasant.

I don't hold stars a different level them I would myself. I want to be comfy, so why shouldn't they. I don't expect much out of any star to begin with.

Gotta go, have to get rid of AA and UA miles and concentrate on Delta.

There's lots of star threads here somewhere. Anyhow I've flown with many celebs, but don't recall any unusual dress. The only thing that stands out was Posh Spice on KL biz LAX-AMS just as the Spice Girls were starting out. She was wearing a t-shirt that said Girl Power.

Sat behind Andi Peters (of childrens tv fame in the UK) on a flight from CDG to LHR a few years ago. It was amusing to see the f/as fawning over the poor chap. He didn't know where to put himself considering the attention he was getting vs the rest of coach.

Teri Hatcher (Lois Lane, Desperate Housewives) on a shuttle flight from Denver to Montfort, CO (Telluride bound) was sitting across the aisle from me w/ her husband. She was in a sweatshirt and jeans and no makeup and was still drop-dead gorgeous!
