Refund due to fare decrease

I booked 2 tickets from RIC to STX on Onetravel last week. This week the fares for the exact same flights are $60 lesser on their site. Am I eligible for a refund? Onetravel says no. I thought if the fareclass remains the same, I should get a refund.

I think when you book with a 3rd party site you won't get any refunds but if you book directly with the airline, you can call them and they will issue you a voucher

Call the airline's CS desk directly

What you are doing is attempting to get a "fare rollover." Although the fareclass may remain the same, e.g. QXXXXX to QYYYYY, the lower fare for QYYYYY may have the restriction that "rollovers are not permitted."

Nevertheless, I've had success when booking with a 3rd party in getting the fare rollover by calling the airline directly. In my case, it was my credit card's travel service that booked my flight. Noticing the following week that the fare dropped, and that rollovers are permitted, I called the airline's CS desk to request a rollover, with a voucher for the difference, w/o a problem.

Unfortunately the answer is no.

I yesterday received a credit on my charge for a fare decrease on 2 tickets to FCO booked directly with AA. It would surprsie me greatly if they honored this policy whn booked through a 3rd party site, but call the airline and let us know what you discover.

Jag-just eye balled the e-tickets and there is no fare class to be found on any of these documents and I cannot find my secret decoder ring. I can tell you it says I had a special web fare and new e-tickets were sent when I received the refund. L/U/T?
