Arizona or Hawaii?

I can see why most people choose Hawaii... It's beautiful, warm, sunny, easy, lazy. You really have to be adveneturous person to consider alternatives to beach vacation.
I had have vacations in both Hawaii and Arizon, and I'd really like to go back again. There is so much more in Arizona than just a grand Canyon... You just have to do your homework. There are smaller canoyons that not much people see, like canyon De Chelly (sp?)... Indian sites... Mountains... Meteorite site... and yes, deserts are magical. In October there won't be much people around... just like deserts should be.
