Any chance on finding something interesting to see in Madrid, Spain Christmas day to New Years Eve????

Any recommendations where to stay in the big four chains that week??

If you find yourself in a restaurant in Madrid on New Year's eve, take note that the grapes are for you to swallow with each strike of the clock at midnight (I started nibbling at mine early and got very strange looks from the other diners!)
