Check in 3 hours before: TACA

TACA (with a straight face) tells you to check in 3 hours before a flight.

[I saw one of their platinums denied boarding because he was there an hour+ before the flight (no bags)...extremely bad thinking on their part]

Back to the question:
Is there an airline that wants you to check in more than 3 hours before the flight or is TACA the winner?
