Boeing and First Choice?

I saw an add in the Financial Times while in the LHR UA F Lounge:

An aircraft that redefines the flying experience and helps airlines fly passengers to more places, nonstop. Its a new era whose time has come."

Is First Choice an airline company?

I think they were one of the two charter operations (the other being Italian) who ordered 10 Dreamliners last week.

Formerly air2000
 

The airline was formerly named air2000 (lower case "a" is theirs) and started ops in 1987. Was renamed First Choice Airways earlier this year to bring it into line with its corporate parent, First Choice Holidays plc.

Yep they are a charter airline out of the UK.

Nice to see a 7E7 already being congiged for 29" pitch :rolleyes:

I had a look at the airline's website. While 28-29" is the current pitch (at least for "short haul"), seat pitch for long haul service using the 767s (actualy getting new -300s) is being increased to 33", 36" for "premium" class. Better than many scheduled full-service competitors.
