If the claims are true, and I believe they are, they should be reported to members of congress by the abused at the soonest possible moment. On the otherside, these incoming passengers should have their papers straight, no matter the circumstances.

You need to file a formal complaint IMMEDIATELY with customs. If for no other reason than to make sure this doesn't happen to him again. I hope he has a badge number of the officer(s).
