Dubai - U.A.E. Paperless Entry

I have been flying for over 40 years, and this was the first instance I can recall other than surface cross-border travel that no handwritten documentation or advance Visa applications whatsoever were required for non-state nationals. Does anybody know any other country [Other then Itra EU Travel] that has no paperwork for Immigration or Customs on entry other than a Passport for Foreign Nationals arriving by air.

PS : Coalition Invaders into Iraq don't count.

Before joining the EU, UK (and I assume other EU citizens) needed fill out no paper for the following:

Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.

The Romanian authorities don't require any paprework, and if my memory serves neither does Morocco. Turkey only requires GBP20 for the visa - no forms to fill in either. That said, outside of Europe it is very unusual not to have a form to fill in.

I was gonna' mention Turkey as well-- no paperwork, just a $20 bill and you're in.

Holland, Germany, Switzerland and Greece are 4 countries I've flown into this year that didn't have any landing cards required for international (non-Schengen) arrivals.

US or other citizenship?

For Turkey, there is no paper and no charge for French (and many other country's) passport holders. Just up to the passport control and you're stamped.

I would bet that you'd find a lot of other country combinations that would work.

Chile is just $100 and Turkey is now $20 but both require the placement of a piece of paper or a stamp overlaid with a dated stamp. So it's paperless in that no forms need be filled, but it's not paperless in terms of what's added to your passport. [Tourist visas mentioned since other visas are obviously a different story.]

Americans need no paperwork when entering most pre-recent-expansion EU countries (UK a very notable exception) or Switzerland. Switzerland does not even give a stamp to me on every occassion.

France requires a landing card for non EU people. But in Paris they don't usually bother looking at it or even your passport. A few months ago when they had the scare about IAD flights you had to fill out a departure card at CDG.

Morocco, Bosnia, Croatia and Switzerland all failed to ask me for any paperwork or visa.

Pakistan required a visa, but no further paperwork (I did enter overland, if that makes a difference).

I can also travel from the UK to the Channel Islands, which are outside the EU, without so much as a library card ;)
