Help- Cheap tix to the UK-
 

Folks,

I think (hope) this question is probably not as newbie as it sounds....

I'm looking for some good ideas on getting to Europe cheap this summer.

I have tried lots and lots of cities, routings, etc, but I'm pretty set on dates. (I'm getting a band there for a 3 gig mini tour.)

I'm trying to get 9 pax (not 10, so can't do the group thing and it's not saving me money anyway....) NYC - MAN, LON or BHX.

I've tried a lot of the obvious and not so obvious, including the shady deals on PIA, Air India etc. and I'm now looking for any European cities and then getting tix on a low fare carrier.

Can anyone suggest any cities that will have low fares right smack in the middle of summer (jul 28 - aug 2). Or does anyone know if we can expect big
sales between now and then? I could wait a bit, but I don't want to get killed later on...

I can change dates by a day or so if it saves substantial money, but I gotta house these guys for the extra night(s) if I do.

I'm finding nothing lower than $600 for the r/t.

Any help would be much appreciated.
