I lost the link to the funniest thread every posted

It was by a wonderful writer posting a series of "reports" on flying in first class with visits to other classses, and with liberal uses of misunderstandings of what was happening to him. Seat 2A was mentioned prominently. It's old address was http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/Forum81/HTML/004268.html, but that link no longer works after the revamp of this website. Can anyone direct me to the new URL?

Thanks.

I'd try a post in the Technical Issues forum. Maybe some of the FT administrators could help you out. Or, maybe just email them...

Just a thought, since I have no idea how to find it...

If you remember a few words in the thread, enter them in Google. You will probably at least get a cached copy.

Was it GoldFlyer's SYD to LHR on a plane?

If not, it should have been.

That's it!

That's it! I thank you, and my readers thank you.

(By the way, how did you find this? If it was by some means other than remembering more about it than did I and then searching on it, I would appreciate knowing how to find old threads in the new system. Thanks.)

I apologise for taking so long to address your question - I've been away from FT for a few days.

I cheated a bit. I remembered that it was started by GoldFlyer (it's mentioned quite a bit in the Qantas forum) and did a search in Trip Reports for threads started by him. So sorry, but I don't have any searching wisdom to share.

Thanks.

Thanks. I couldn't find the thread because I couldn't remember his name. Now I have the link fixed on my website so everyone can enjoy the thread.
