Old FlyerTalk thread missing from new board? Try using Google's Cache feature!

During the conversion from the old Flyertalk to the new Flyertalk, some of us noticed that 100% of the threads didn't convert over. So, if you are in desperate need to find an old thread, just do a Google search.

For example, the "Hire a Flyertalker" thread did not make it over to the new board. So, I just did a Google search and found the old info (take a look here: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...Flyertalker%22 )

I did this by typing the thread title and then the word flyertalk.com into the search. For example, I typed, "Hire a Flyertalker" flyertalk.com

Since that thread had multiple threads on it, I then clicked on the "More results from flyertalk.com. From there, I saw all the results that were relevant. I then just clicked on on the the CACHED link and it showed me the old thread.

p.s. - Another interesting website to see 'old' pages on the web is http://www.WaybackMachine.org The Internet Archive Wayback Machine is a service that allows people to visit archived versions of Web sites. Visitors to the Wayback Machine can type in a URL, select a date range, and then begin surfing on an archived version of the Web
