Does anyone know if there is a lounge at Havana airport that you can buy access to?

We are flying Air Jamaica in a weeks time and have a late return flight.

We are Priority Pass members but unfortunately they don't have a participating lounge at Havana.

On another point why is there no section for Carribean Airports in Flyertalk hundreds of thousands of people fly there every year?

Well now that I have been (& returned) I can answer my own post, or at least the question about lounges at Havana.

I post this to provide the info to any other interested members.

There are two VIP lounges at Havana, one landside which is pretty basic and one airside which offers better accomodation and some food (sandwiches) at certain times. Both offer complimentary coffee, soft drinks, beer, wine and spirits. The airside lounge also has a TV (in Spanish of course).

We visited both, the cost for admission which allowed us access to both lounges was 25 USD per person, as we had a four hour delay it was money well spent.

We travelled Air Jamaica and I believe First and also maybe Business Class pax get complimentary access.

Hope this is helpful to some other travellers to Havana.
