Indeed. Last week I did seven in one day driving home to Amsterdam from Northern Italy: Italy, Switzerland, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and Netherlands.

A number of FT'ers were in Switzerland for the "Fastnacht" FT doo in Basel a few months back.

In a day or so Rudi, Punki, Hunki, Gisela, Joh and I had driven from Switzerland to France, to Germany, Austria and Liechtenstein.

I wonder how many folks have visited 5 different countries with 5 Flyertalkers in a day?

Joh and I flew into the Netherlands, then after Switzerland flew to Kenya, Tanzania, Zanzibar, Thailand, and Malaysia on the way home to Sydney. So it was a "10 countries in a week on 3 continents" type deal.

Not sure I've answered before, but in any case it would be revised now. A paltry, but growing list...

USA (just 21 states and DC, 1 more if you count airport transits)
    Canada (three provinces)
Mexico (just a Tijuana day trip, but it's still technically Mexico )
    Puerto Rico
    Argentina
    Uruguay
    Ireland
    United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales)
    France

Am booked for Amsterdam in The Netherlands in November, and have Australia/New Zealand or maybe Japan in my sights...

True - it is quite hard to see all the small ones in europe and the pacific. The same site does have a europe map as well.

22 for me, but I'm counting East Germany in addition to West Germany, since it was a separate country when I visited. Hey, does that mean the unified Germany is a separate country from either East Germany or the old West Germany? If so, make it 23!

Going by the two lists at the beginning of this post I have all the countries except Libya and East Timor, and I have 24 of the dependancies-Greenland and most of the Caribbean and Pacific Island ones. I have to rush off to work and no time to list them. I counted if I am physically standing in the country (but not an airport transit) but I do not have to formally enter the country. Most of my travel was overland backpacker style anyway. A mad dash across the border in some African countries counts or visiting Panmujon got me North Korea. I also traveled the length of Yugoslavia back when it was still Yugoslavia instead of Serbia, Bosnia, etc so I was physically in the territory but not when it was an independant country.
