That's great, ozstamps, but you never did tell us your total, let alone list your countries, did you?

Well...33 countries that I can think of. Most of them in Europe. In one day...Finland, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium and France. Drove from above the Arctic Circle (Finnish/Soviet border - 1983) to Goteborg, Ferry to Denmark, and train to Paris. Quite a day!

Does passing through all those countries in one day count as a "visit?"

See earlier posts for discussion on this question. Did you do any sightseeing, or at least take a leak, in any of those countries?

Quite a day indeed! How many hours did that day have? Finnish/Soviet border above Arctic Circle to Goteborg is at the very least 800 miles of driving (most of it on non-divided highways), ferry to Denmark about three hours, and train from there to Paris at least 12-14 hours. Even assuming all connections were a minimal waste of time it seems impossible to do in 1 day (25 hours, taking the 1-hour time difference between Finland and France into account), especially if detouring into Norway on the way.

Flying to Tonga this week for Christmas. Not sure if that is on any lists above, but it is pretty left field.

One of the few true absolute monarchies still remaining they say.
