Travelguard

1. How good a company are they compared to CSA?

2. I'm debating which is better,, Protect Assist or WorldWide Health. Anyone have experiences with these plans?

The main thing is if I have a medical emer I want good coverage in a plan. Im deciding bet Travel Guard Protect Assist and CSA Silver.

We used Travel Guard recently for a trip to S. Africa, Botswana and Zambia and my husband got sick in Botswana and had to be flown to see a Dr. there and received several injections and other medications. Altogether, it wasn't too expensive and we kept all local receipts which we sent in to Travel Guard upon our return and were promptly reimbursed. Even though all receipts were in the Botswana currency, there were no discrepencies in their calculations and ours.

I can only make my comparison on different aspects:
Many years ago TWA lost my luggage on the way to a cruise out of Aruba. CSA gave me so much trouble reimbursing me for some clothes that I threatened to fly out and sue them. They finally relented.
We had to cancel two trips due to my husband's illness. They were insured by Travelguard and I got totally reimbursed for both with no problem at all. I only use Travelguard now.

I had GQQD results with Travelguard, so I get some Insurance on all trips now for the Medical coverage and other Emergencies.
Especially for International flights.
