Fear of flying programs

My wife, who has been flying her entire life, had a very turbulant flight a number of years ago that left her with a fear of flying. She seemed to be improving (it helped that I was able to upgrade us every time we traveled), but experienced a relapse after the birth of our daughter (when I think the fear-of-everything hormones kicked in). Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to deal with this? Logic does not work.

Have you tried contacting one of the big airlines? Many of them run programmes for nervous flyers (to encourage them to fly on that airline!) You probably have most chance with whichever airline has a hub near you.

I remember that years ago AA had such a program, but I could find no mention of it on their website. Perhaps I'll give them a call.
