TSA approves metal knives!

I packed cheese and fruit and plastic knives and forks in an insulated lunch bag with shoulder strap and two zipper compartments. Forgot the paring knife was in the outside zipper pocket.

The supervisor almost let me keep it. He just kept saying it was really too pointed to let go. I felt like a complete fool, but he said they are now allowing metal butter knives with rounded tips. We're finally making progress.

CO not only had them on the plane last week, they had them in their airline lounge also. FWIW they are definately duller than than the silly plastic knives.

You know I have actually accidentally "broken skin" on my finger with those "safe" plastic knives. Never happens with those blunt metal knives.

Round-bladed butter knives have been on the OK list at least as long as corkscrews have.
