Shortest mainline flight in US
 
There was some discussion about the shortest US domestic flight flown by a mainline carrier and not commuter.

Well, in the February issue of "Airways" magazine, there's an article about the AS 73M, flight 64, that goes ANC-JNU-PSG-WRG-KTN-SEA. The PSG-WRG flight is listed as 30 miles in AS' timetable, 20-22 minutes flight time. [Great Circle Mapper says 31 miles.]

IAH-Hobby. Forgot hobby code. Probally not mainline though.

COS-DEN is about 72 miles. The route is flown both by UA Express (on CRJs and BAes) as well as by UA mainline (mostly on 737s with a very occasional Airbus).

The same place where a 737 is a widebody. One FTer has a quote something like that.

Just for the record, CO's no longer flies IAH-HOU. Now, it's IAH-EFD, about 28 miles, or a ERJ.
