Good luck trying to use these abroad. As I just discovered trying to cash in 4k points; you cannout use them outside of the states

Nevertheless, I recomend Hertz's program as well....
as a five points I can say that its not much different than regular Gold Club

Depending on the situation and the relative cost, I rent from either Hertz or Budget. If cost is equal, I rent from Hertz, but Budget usually has more specials on SUVs and pickup trucks.

Hertz feeds my Marriott account, while Budget's Fastbreak points can go towards free weekends.
