Where to find UPS/Fedex flight schedules?

So...with the hopes of one of the Concordes being retired to Seattle in two weeks, I'd like to get out and try capturing shots of fast moving planes that arrive daily (such as the dozens of daily cargo movements) in and out of KBFI - Boeing Field aka King County International.

A few years ago on a related note I stumbled on UPS schedules once, any idea where on the web I could find similiar flight schedules (Basically arrival times).

Thanks!

My husband has been able to fly on UPS and FedEx planes. I asked him how one gets the schedules, but he said to his knowledge they're not public information. He has a special number to call, but unfortunately he's not allowed to give it out. You may just have to hang around. One tip - most of their flights, probably 90 percent are overnight. Most UPS flights tend to arrive in Lou'ville about 4 a.m.

Not on the web unfortunately, but you need a copy of the OAG Air Cargo Guide, it has all the cargo flight schedules. It's expensive because they only sell annual subscriptions and the book, about the size of a phone directory, is issued monthly. If you know anyone in a freight forwarders office they are likely to have an old one they throw out each month when the replacement arrives.

I'm sure someone in rec.aviation.misc on Usenet could tell you the arrival times, gratis. A quick scan of the Google archive of that group reveals the following (from 1997):

For quality, not quantity, it's hard to beat Boeing Field in Seattle (not
the same as SeaTac Airport). Not much passenger traffic, but between 5 &
7 p.m. the sky is sometimes full of UPS and Fed Ex cargo jets.

Try the following link:

http://www.flytecomm.com/cgi-bin/trackflight

Enter an arrival airport and click go, then it should tell you ALL scheduled flights (passenger, cargo, and I think even charter).

Very nice elCheapo. It will be hard to tell if this shows me what I want until tomorrow when the Cargo flights come in (there doesn't appear to be anything scheduled for today) - but based on it pulling up all the flightplans of a whole bunch of execujets, this could be perfect!

So, I've been playing a lot with this stuff. I live only a mile from Paine Field, so I'm always up for sitting at the end of a runway when a 744 floats overhead. I've been able to use the tools below to better time my arrivals at airports to planewatch. Anyways...thought some might be interested.

Use Flytecomm for quick-action realtime web-based queries and seeing upcoming flight plans filed:

For more advanced detailed information, use Flight Explorer Personal Edition, which is $10 a month depending on usage. Allows access to flight plans, but not as forward-based as Flytecomm.

For really detailed stuff, I've been playing around with AirNav's Suite. Wild stuff. Kinda expensive for personal use, but in Demo mode you can get all the info you need for the most part. Ability to read messages sent to/from commercial aircraft. Pull up flight plans, etc... I've been kinda playing with all 5 of the different products they have. They are all reasonably priced, I'm trying to determine what I will actually use. some of the products are priced on a usage basis - others on a software basis. If your an aviation fanatic, AirNav suite is definitely worth a look. Both this, and flight explorer allow you to quickly and easily identify charter flights - including Charters on various airlines. For instance I noticed last night that the Seattle Supersonics had chartered a NW A320 from Sacramento to Boeing Field Seattle. As soon as it finished refueling, it bailed off for a redeye nonstop to MSP (No PAX taken apparently). Anyways, lots of random stuff.

First, welcome to flyer talk. Hope you stick around, we've got a lot to offer you!

Second, since the original post was from over 11 years ago, it is likely the op has either found what they were looking for, very has given up. I would not be surprised if the thread is soon locked.

We get a LOT of planes flying over our house and I think FedEx are the only Tri-jets.

Another useful tool is the FedEx Jumpseat Finder
