what hotels are near bdl [hartford] that have airport shuttles...also, has anyone visited the new england air museum on the field, would like info. thanks

I have stayed at the Fairfield Inn near BDL twice in the last month. They offer an airport shuttle that requires only 5 min notice. The bed was noticably comfortable and they offer high-speed internet access only on the third floor.

I did not go to the museum, however.

The Sheraton in the BDL termnial is above-average (not much) and ultra-convenient.

Stayed at the Doubletree which meets your criteria. Golds got top floor + executive lounge access (only complimentary soft/hot drinks + snacks). Left too early the next day to see what the breakfast offerings were.
