New TSA Process for Boarding at JFK?
Just got this in an e-mail from aa:

It seems that no airport that I've been through in the past two years lets you through security without a boarding pass. Many airports let you through with something other then a boarding pass, an e-ticket, a confirmation, etc, for people getting their passes at the gate. They have been rolling out hte boarding pass only for a year or so airport by airport, terminal by terminal, so they just got around to that one.

The good news is this means that gate-groping is finally going away at JFK. From now on, nearly all secondary searches (with limited exceptions) will occur at the checkpoint and not as you are about to board the airplane. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...orum/smile.gif
