old OAGs

Nologic got me thinking....

My taller half's father was a transportation expert (trains really), but in cleaning out stuff this past weekend, we encountered lots of old OAGs from the 60s and 70's with the most amazing schedules and adverts.

Is there a market out there for this kind of stuff?

They really made grand bedtime reading material..a bit sad too.

Positively - people collect junk like this. Not just your father in law. http://www.flyertalk.com/travel/fttr...orum/smile.gif

Absolutely! I have seen OAG's, Offical Railroad Guides and Timetables at Airline and Railroad memorabilia shows all over the country and on ebay. It's sad but I don't have some of the OAG's my dad brought home from work in the 70's. Although I have managed to get my hands on quite a few Railroad Guides from the pre-Amtrak days...fascinating reading!
